Prices are higher in more central, easily accessible locations. At the same time though, these options deliver better returns and good capital appreciation.
Buying a property in Istanbul is more pleasurable with MARE Investment as we list a variety of ideal options both resale and off plan. In the early 2010’s the areas to invest were Western areas like Beylikduzu and Bahcesehir. From 2015 to 2018 Bomonti was booming with new luxury projects offering 3 year no interest payment plans. Between 2019 and 2022 Seyrantepe, Vadi Istanbul area came at more affordable prices, also with payment plans. 2021 to 2023 we have seen Kagithane as the more affordable area for good urban regeneration deals.
Now, all these areas mentioned are minimum 50% higher in Dollar value and they are fully facilitated. This makes new projects in the area higher in price, and unless you have to be there, we do not recommend these areas for investment in Istanbul.
Current best areas for Buying a property in Istanbul
Not that these areas have just emerged however Gaziosmanpasa, Alibeykoy and Eyupsultan are our recommended options for 2025. Especially to the South of the Motorway Alibeykoy is only 5 minutes to the Galatasaray Stadium in Vadi Istanbul, and Gaziosmanpasa is only 8 minutes to the same area. Old industrial or warehousing areas are transforming and the residential projects taking their places should be your targets.
