Narlikuyu-Akyar
Let us start from Mersin and about 65 km to the West, Narlikuyu is one of the best options you could consider. This village used to be famous with the Heaven & Hell Caves. The local administration laws have changed in 2009, and municipality status changed to neighbourhood.
Narlikuyu consists of two villages. Hasanaliler starts from the coastline and goes up to about 5 km towards the hills. The second village is Kizilisali, it starts from Hasanaliler’s end and goes up to about 11 km from the sea. Kizilisali is an excellent Mediterranean countryside village which has its share of the hidden gems of Turkey.
If you want to be within a developing holiday village then the lower part of Hasanaliler is good. From the seaside up to 2-2,5 km the zoning plans are in progress.
If you would prefer a tranquil area close to amenities, then the higher Hasanaliler or Kizilisali are the best areas for you. You will have sea views and you could keep busy with farming during your stay in the area.
Aydincik, definition of Mediterranean countryside
Aydincik is actually a tiny city with about 12.000 population. This makes it a very good option for you, because you can be close to everything and still have a rural life should you prefer.
Eskiyoruk, Yeniyoruk and Yenikas are the most ideal areas for you to consider in terms of Mediterranean Countryside. Eskiyoruk is about 9-13 km to the centre and it is surrounded bay mountains. Yeniyoruk is higher up from the centre and it is more affordable in terms of prices per sqm. As Aydincik is not really famous, the hidden gems of Turkey here are ready for you to discover here.
Yenikas is on the sea and located along the D-400 main road. When the road network gets ready, Yenikas will be exactly like famous Kas-Kalkan. So, buying now is recommended!
Anamur
With the completion of the Mersin-Antalya road, Anamur will be much closer to the Gazipasa Airport. The development of the area is in course as the plans for the Oren region is ongoing. This will create new settlement areas and increase the potential of Anamur.
Therefore, anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes drive to the Anamur centre investment in the Mediterranean Countryside is a no brainer. Whether you want to be close to the sea and city or out of town we have various options. You will be close to some of the most interesting hidden gems of Turkey in Anamur, literally hiding in plain sight.
You may want to invest in an active Banana greenhouse or Avocado garden in order to generate income while you are waiting for a healthy and profitable exit.
In any case, Mersin is one of the best parts of Turkey to invest in. We are waiting for your call.
